Abu Dhabi, February 18 / WAM / Edge Group continues the march of growth and expansion, based on sustainable investment strategies and expanding the scope of its operations in global markets, reflecting its commitment to support the national economy and enhancing the position of the UAE in this vital sector.
Hamad Al -Murar, Managing Director and CEO of Edge Group, stressed that Edge operations are spread in 91 countries around the world in light of working to enhance cooperation rates with the African continent, followed by Latin America and Asia, noting that military deals usually take from one to three years, stressing It goes according to the approved plans to achieve its expansion goals.
He added in statements to the Emirates News Agency “WAM”, that Edge has invested continuously over the past five years, and succeeded in diversifying its products and entering into the field of supplying systems, and announced the start of the implementation of a number of export deals, with the group achieved revenues of about $ 5 billion annually More than 20% of them from export operations.
He pointed out that the number of group employees is currently 14 thousand employees, with expectations to increase this number based on the requirements of future projects, pointing out that the percentage of resettlement in the company is 20% in general, while it reaches 50% in the engineering departments.
Al -Murr said that the participation of the Edge Group in the International Defense Exhibition IDEX 2025 comes as the main platform to review the capabilities of the UAE defense sector in front of international delegations, stressing the group’s commitment to introduce its achievements and products that reflect the level of progress achieved by the UAE in the defense and technical industries sector.
