المملكة: With 387 million riyals .. raising the power of the Hit station in Riyadh to 400 thousand mg per day

The National Water Company, represented by its middle sector, has completed the implementation of the third phase of the wastewater treatment plant south of Riyadh, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the infrastructure of environmental services and improve operational efficiency, at a total cost of more than 387 million riyals.
The company explained that the third stage of the station operates with the triple treatment technology for wastewater, with a design capacity of 200 thousand cubic meters per day, which raises the total absorptive capacity of the station in its three stages to 400 thousand cubic meters per day.
She emphasized that the project aims to improve the quality of environmental services, support environmental balance, and to treat sewage with high efficiency.

Development of the processing system

She pointed out that the project is one of the strategic projects that contribute to the development of the wastewater treatment system, improve the efficiency of operating, and absorb the increasing flows resulting from the rapid urban and population growth in the capital, Riyadh.
The company affirmed its commitment to implement its strategic plans to enhance infrastructure and raise the level of environmental services according to the highest quality standards, in line with the targets of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision.
