A cinematic trilogy backed by the Red Sea shines with the Berlin Festival awards

Three films with the support of the Red Sea Film Foundation achieved a remarkable achievement at the Berlin International Film Festival, as it crowned prestigious prizes that reflect the power of independent cinema.
The three films are: “burning heads”, “the heart muscle”, and “Yalla Barkour”, which proved its distinguished presence on the global scene.

The “muscle heart” won the jury award in the Panorama Department, reaching the story of a father facing his son’s disappearance at the moment his life turned into a self -detection journey.

Audience Award

As for “Yalla Barkour”, he won the second place in the Audience Award for Documentary Films, where director Arab Zuaiter, Gaza youth, monitors chaos with parkour sport, in a work that mixes longing for the homeland with creativity. And “burned heads” obtained a special notification in the “Generation 14 Plus” section, presenting the story of a girl who overcomes the loss of her brother with the support of his friends.

The movie “The Sun sees everything” by Wissam Tanios also won the audience strategy award from the International Film Fund.
