“The Ramadan” .. the warmth of traditions and the bridge of communication between generations
These Ramadan councils have a special place in society, enhance family and neighborhood ties, and provide space for the exchange of stories and experiences, in addition to discussing the topics of concern to the people in an atmosphere filled with familiarity and love.

Meroe Al -Sudairy explained that the alum is not just a gathering about fire, but rather a symbol of generosity and brotherhood among members of society, and they exchange talk about the past and the developments in the region, which makes it an original part of the local heritage.
For his part, Karim Al -Dhaidi pointed out that these sessions contribute to the consolidation of social relations, as the councils remain open to all, and the attendees participate in preparing coffee and exchanging news, stressing that adhering to these customs links generations to their ancient past.
And the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Retired Society in the Northern Borders Region, Marji’s penalty, said that the Ramadan semi was and still is part of our heritage, as we grew up on it, which gathered generations, and gives an opportunity to restore memories and share experiences with young people, and that Ramadan is the ideal time to revive such customs, because of the spirit of love, communication and enhancing social values between generations.
Despite the recent changes, “Ramadan alum” is still present in many of the houses of the people in the northern border region, and they are keen to revive them on Ramadan nights, in a warm atmosphere that embodies the originality of social traditions in the region.
