Zelinski welcomes the expectation of metal agreement with America .. Does Trump agree?
Ukrainian President Folodimir Zellinski told British media that his country is ready to sign the mineral agreement with the United States.
He said in a session with journalists late on Sunday night/Monday after the historic summit that brought together the leaders of allied countries in London: We will sign the agreement on the table if the parties are ready. “
The hopes of concluding the agreement, which was supposed to constitute a step towards ending the war in Ukraine, on Friday, faded after Tlansin between Zelinski and US President Donald Trump at the White House.
Continue what happened in the past
“Our policy is to continue what happened in the past, we are building, if we agree to sign the metal agreement, we are ready to sign it,” the British Broadcasting Corporation quoted Zelinski as saying.
On Friday, Zellinski visited Washington to sign an agreement between Ukraine and the United States to joint exploitation of mineral resources in Ukraine, as part of a after -war recovery plan, as part of a possible peace agreement by the United States.
But during their meeting at the White House, Trump scolded his Ukrainian counterpart, and asked him to be the most “grateful” of the American support that was presented to Kev during the three -year war.
Fair
The American president had previously said that the proposed mineral agreement would be “fair.”
After the acute verbal argument, Zelinski asked to leave without holding a joint press conference that was scheduled.
The White House said that the mineral agreement was blessed without signature.
Leaders of allied countries held Ukraine Sunday’s summit in London to show their support for Kev, and to commit to more security in Europe and enhance defense spending, while adhering to the need to provide strong support from the United States.
