“Food Development” expects a memorandum of understanding with Griffiths Foods

The Food Development Company, (Food Development), today signed a memorandum of understanding with Griffith Foods, a global company for the development and production of products specialized in food components.
According to the company’s statement on Saudi Arabia’s circulation, this cooperation aims to diversify the portfolio of development products, expand regional distribution, support the goals of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision for food security and self -sufficiency, in addition to advancing sustainability through the supply chain.
This memorandum aims to conduct studies and evaluate the following areas of common concern:
• The supply agreement: the conclusion of a supply agreement to enhance the availability of products and support growth in the target sectors in the market.
• The joint commercial project: Explore the possibility of establishing a joint project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to expand the scope of operations in the market.
• Halal market development: exploring ways of cooperation to enhance the capabilities of halal components, including the establishment of an advanced research and development center in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, specializing in food innovation, product industry, and developing healthy food solutions.
• Building a new facility: Carrying out a feasibility study to build a production facility in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for local production of halal food components to serve the markets of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
The memorandum period is two years.
