Then, the Crown Prince, the Council of Ministers, briefed the content of the messages received by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God preserve him – and His Highness, from His Excellency the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, and His Excellency the President of the United Republic of the United Republic of Othman Ghazali.

Taif Agreement

The Council affirmed the full support of the unusual Arab summit decisions, the “Palestine Summit” that was held in the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt, which aims to confirm the refusal to displace the Palestinian people from its land, and end the catastrophic repercussions resulting from the war, stressing the council on the right of the Palestinian people to self -determination and obtain their legitimate rights, including their right to establish an independent state on the borders of 1967 AD with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Humanitarian aid

The Council condemned the decision of the Israeli occupation government to stop entering humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, calling on the international community to carry out its responsibilities towards these serious violations, activate international accounting mechanisms and ensure sustainable access to aid.
And in the local affairs; He indicated that the Council of Ministers affirmed the state’s continued support for the system of social services and national initiatives aimed at providing the appropriate housing for the families due, praising in this context in cooperation and integration of roles between governmental, private and non -profit agencies, in addition to members of society to achieve the goals of the campaign of the gendering of the regions.

Renaissance march in the Kingdom

The Council reviewed the progress of work in the major development and service projects that are being completed to enhance the comprehensive renaissance march in the Kingdom, blessing the opening of the first stages of the sports path project that will contribute – God willing – to consolidate the position of Riyadh among the best international cities.
The Council of Ministers reviewed the topics on its agenda, among them topics that the Shura Council participated in studying, as well as what was concluded by both the Council of Political and Security Affairs, Economic Affairs and Development, the General Committee of the Council of Ministers, and the Cabinet Experts Authority in its matter, and the Council has ended to the following:

Firstly:

The mandate of His Royal Highness the Minister of the Interior – or his representative – to discuss with the Maldivi side regarding a draft memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of civil defense and civil protection between the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the government of the Republic of Maldives, and signing it.

secondly:

Approval of a memorandum of understanding regarding political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ireland.

Third:

Approval of two counseling models for the two memoranda of understanding between the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its counterparts in other countries in the industrial field and the field of mineral wealth, and the authorization of the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources – or his representative – to discuss with the counterparts in other countries, regarding the two projects of understanding in the industrial field and the field of mineral wealth, and signing them in light of the guidelines.

Fourth:

Approval of an agreement to encourage and protect mutual investments between the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the government of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Fifth:

Delegating His Excellency the Minister of Education – or his representative – to discuss with the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (Arab Center for Educational Research for the Gulf States) regarding a draft scientific and educational cooperation memorandum between the Ministry of Education – Education Research Center – in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States (Arab Center for Educational Research for the Gulf States), and signing it.

Sixth:

Approval of an agreement based on the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Council of Arab Cyber ​​Security Ministers.

Seventh:

Approval of an agreement between the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the government of His Majesty Sultan and Yang de Bertwan Brunei Dar Al Salam, in the field of air transport services.

Eighth:

Delegate the Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Tourism Authority – or his representative – to discuss with the Jordanian side regarding a draft understanding note for cooperation in the field of promotion and tourism marketing between the Saudi Tourism Authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Tourism Promotion Authority in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and signing it.

Ninth:

Approval of a memorandum of understanding between the General Competition Authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Trade and Industry in the State of Qatar in the field of promoting competition.

Tenth:

Approval of a memorandum of understanding between the Presidency of State Security in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the National Intelligence Service in the Republic of Iraq in the field of combating terrorist crimes and financing.

Eleven:

Approval of a memorandum of understanding for cooperation between the Public Prosecution in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Office of the Public Prosecutor in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

twelfth:

Converting the National Committee for the Saudi Building Code to a center in the name of (the Saudi Center for the Building Code), approval of its organizational arrangements, and amending the Saudi Building Code application system, and approval – in principle – to establish the Saudi Building Code Academy.

Thirteenth:

Approval of the organization of the Saudi Investment Marketing Commission.
The Council of Ministers also reviewed a number of general issues on its agenda, including two annual reports of the King Fahd National Library and Al -Qassim University, and the Council has taken what is necessary on these issues.
