The medical team, led by an orthopedic and joint surgery consultant, Dr. Ahmed Ismail Al -Hiji, said: “When the patient reached the hospital emergency, first aid and radiological examinations were conducted, and the case that is classified as a partial amputation and complete loss of the arm and right facility was studied with a total length And his relatives, and their understanding of injury. ”

Dr. Al -Hayyi explained: “After completing the necessary medical preparations appropriate to this unproductive injury, the patient was immediately introduced to the operating room, where ten continuous surgical interventions were conducted, including two -thirds of the fragment bone from the right and left leg, then rebuilding and restoring the attached joint of both the ulna and the right -wing, in addition to the restoration of the joint joint on the side The arm. The right arm bone was rebuilt by a distance of 12 cm by using the right and right fragmented bones as a substitute for the lost humerus, and their shape from the leg bone is converted into a new shape that is proportional to its new geomatic function as an arm and attached, and fixed with two metal slides and nails. ”

And Dr. Al -Hayyi confirmed: “With the grace of God – the new arm and facilities were fully moved as a test during surgery, which was crowned with the success of God – and it took nearly ten continuous hours in the operating room.

And Dr. Al -Hiji noted: “This process is considered a very rare operation, as it included innovative surgeries.”
