Syrian artist Maysoon Abu Asaad returned to the artistic scene after an absence of years through her participation in the series “Madina Kitchen” to deny the rumor of her retirement from art.

Maysoon said during an interview with the program “Et in Arabic” that the news that spread about her retirement from art is part of the rumors, and she added: “No, uncle, why?”, pointing out that during her absence in the past years, the work was focused on platforms, in addition to the difficult circumstances that Syria experienced, and therefore she did not decide of her own free will to move away from art.
