Dubai Roads and Transport Authority confirmed that vehicle owners can register their new vehicles from the house without the need to wait or visit the service centers to register the new vehicle, noting that dealers must visit the authority’s website, and download the required documents, to complete the transaction smoothly and issue the ownership of the new vehicle.

For citizens and the people of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, the Emirati identity, an electronic customs certificate must be submitted, and the allegiance contract, in addition to a document proving the vehicle matching the Gulf specifications (Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology – matching sector), in the event that it is not conforming to the customs card.

As for residents outside the Emirate of Dubai, the Emirati identity is required, an official letter from the company in which the customer works is sealed and signed by the company (Dubai Branch), an electronic customs certificate, and the allegiance contract.
