المملكة: Foreign Minister and his Moroccan counterpart chairs the meeting of the Saudi -Moroccan Committee

His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Foreign Affairs and African Cooperation and Moroccans residing abroad, Mr. Nasser Bouraita, chaired the meeting of the 14th session of the Saudi -Moroccan Joint Committee.

The meeting comes as an affirmation of the close historical ties between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Morocco, and to enhance cooperation between the two countries in areas of common concern, and in the presence of senior officials in ministries, government agencies, institutions and the private sector in the two brotherly countries.

Achieving the aspirations of the leadership of the two countries

The two sides expressed their satisfaction with the distinguished level of existing relations between the two countries, and praised the blessed efforts from the parties participating in the work of the committee in order to achieve the aspirations of the leaders of the two countries, enhance joint cooperation in various fields to push the distinguished relations between the two sides, and to ensure their development and push them into wider horizons.

During the meeting, the joint customs cooperation agreement was signed for mutual recognition of the approved economic operator program, and a memorandum of understanding in the field of environmental protection and sustainable development.

At the end of the meeting, the Foreign Minister and his Moroccan counterpart signed the minutes of the 14th session of the meeting of the Saudi -Moroccan Joint Committee.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Saud Al -Sati, and His Excellency the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Kingdom of Morocco, Ambassador Dr. Sami Al -Saleh, and the deputy governor of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority for Operations Affairs Abdullah Al -Sadhan.

And the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development for International Affairs d. Tariq Al -Hamoud, and the CEO of the General Organization to preserve the coral reefs and turtles in the Red Sea d. Khaled Mohamed Isfahani, Director of the General Administration of Councils of Councils and committees, Eng. Fahd Al -Harthy.
