Shams Ramadan Electronic Sports Championship starts on Saturday
Sharjah, on March 6 / WAM / Sharjah Media City (Shams) is organized at its headquarters during the period from 8 to 14 March, the “Shams Ramadan” championship for electronic sports with a total of financial prizes of up to 100 thousand dirhams, as part of its efforts to enhance the culture of electronic sports and support young talents in this growing field and enhance its position is one of the most prominent entertainment and competitive activities during the holy month of Ramadan.
Alia Ali Al -Suwaidi, Director of the Content and Innovation Department in Sharjah Media City, said that this tournament comes within the framework of the continuous support of (Shams) for youth and their empowerment in the fields of innovation and technology and emphasized that electronic sports are one of the fastest growing industries in the world, noting that the tournament aims to enhance the spirit of health competition and encourage young people to invest their times in useful and enjoyable activities and it is expected that more than 300 players will participate in the tournament activities.
