200 beneficiaries of services "mercy" To enhance home health care in Sharjah

Sharjah, March 7 / WAM / The “Rahma” program of the Social Services Department in Sharjah continues to provide home nursing services for approximately 200 beneficiaries, from the elderly and people with disabilities, who need continuous health care in their homes, especially those who suffer from health conditions that require integrated medical attention such as nutrition through pipelines or industrial breathing.

Kholoud Abdullah Al Ali, Director of the Center for Services of the Elderly, confirmed that the program that was launched in 2017 by a decision of the Executive Council aims to improve the quality of patients ’life by providing integrated domestic nursing services, including a resident nurse, periodic medical visits, in addition to laboratory tests and physical therapy sessions.

The department facilitates access to the service through the 800700 call center and the website, where the patient’s family is communicated to clarify the conditions of benefit that include the ability to complete or partial costs at the costs according to the family income and after completing the medical standards, the date of the medical team’s visit is determined to approve the request.

It is required to accept the request that the patient be a citizen from the Emirate of Sharjah, and the bedride in a health condition that calls for home care according to an accredited medical report, with no coverage of health insurance for these services, and the family’s commitment to periodic medical follow -up, which ensures sustainable health care for the beneficiaries.
