China exports record a record level in the first two months of 2025

Beijing, on March 8 / WAM / The General Administration of Chinese Customs announced yesterday that the total value of the foreign trade of China amounted to 6.54 trillion yuan during the first two months of this year, as exports recorded a new record for the same period.
The Central China channel reported that the value of exports amounted to 3.88 trillion yuan, an increase of 3.4%, while imports reached 2.66 trillion yuan, a decrease of 7.3%.
She explained that China achieved growth in its exports to its most prominent commercial partners, as exports to the Association of Southeast Asian countries increased by ASEAN by 6.8%, to the European Union by 1.8%, to the United States by 3.4%, and to Japan by 2%, while exports to countries participating in the “Belt and Road” initiative increased by 2.4%.
