Emirates Airlines is cooperating with “Parsis” to design a new pioneering station for remote medicine during flights

Emirates Airlines has announced its cooperation with Parsis Tele Medicine from a distance medical medical company, to provide the next generation equipment that will enable customers to receive high -quality and fast medical care in the air.

Emirates Airlines has invested more than $ 2.4 million in the design of the new equipment group in cooperation with Parsis, which will be used on 300 aircraft over the next few years.

The leading “Remote Training Station” has advanced features such as high -resolution video conferences, evaluating the state of remote passengers, transporting data safely and electrical planning, enabling the trained plane crew to save lives in emergency situations.

Emirates Airlines is constantly investing in high -quality medical equipment, but the new Parsis Group is a product of general cooperation between Emirates Airlines and Parsis to create a dedicated tool during the flight that is more efficient, reliable, more connected and safe for a carrier customer.

The best new system in its class includes the “Parsis Tele Medicine” group for Emirates Airlines and “Parsis Claude”, which is an integrated station that can be carried for a remote medication designed in a way that enables the plane crew to collect important information and vital signs, which can then be sent to the ground medical support of Emirates Airlines – a specialized team of medical professionals at the headquarters of the Emirates Group in Dubai and can be contacted around the clock throughout the week.

The group includes many medical devices such as the oxygen scale in the blood, thermometer, the blood pressure monitor, the sugar scale and the heart planning.

Emirates Airlines who need medical support on flights now can now transfer their vital signs or readings automatically to the MedCAPTURE via Bluetooth, which eliminates the need for the crew of the plane to write down notes and transfer information manually.

Comprehensive medical procedures

The MedCAPture tablet includes a new software application, which is specially designed to match the comprehensive medical procedures applied by Emirates Airlines.

The interface is characterized by an intuitive and easy -to -use design so that the crew can run it efficiently, even under difficult conditions. It also allows the plane crew to communicate in the actual time with the ground support team, which ensures immediate access to specialized medical advice while they are in the air and evaluate medical conditions for travelers in the actual time, and in some cases, doctors are allowed to evaluate injuries or medical problems visually remotely if necessary.

The MedCAPture device is connected to the “Parsis Cloud” system, which is a cloud platform to support ground medical services to receive data during the flight and communicate with the crew, which is a safe and reliable system and ensures dealing with customer data according to the rules of data protection.

Indeed, Parsis groups have been installed on many Emirates aircraft, and they played an effective role in many successful medical cases so far.

During a flight to Lyon in France recently, an elderly traveler had an emergency medical condition that affected its cardiovascular system, which led to a significant decrease in its oxygen levels and other vital signs, when the trained emergency crew quickly provided oxygen and used the MedCApture device to share its vital signs with the ground support team in the Emirates Group and asked to consult a doctor on the ground.

Coordination faster and smoother

The ground medical support team responded immediately via “Parsis Claude”, where the MedCAPture device was connected to the plane.

Thanks to the actual time and direction of experts, the crew managed to manage the situation effectively, and ensure that the traveler gets the best possible care. Parsis enabled coordination faster and smoother between the staff and the medical team, which helped provide medical support in time during the trip.

Medical and support for the plane’s crew is one of the most important priorities in Emirates Airlines, as new joints are subject to eight weeks of intense training “before joining” to become a world -class plane crew. The pre -joining period includes a large number of training courses from security to service, safety and emergency to hospitality, and training of a very important medical response. Using a mixture of practical and direct learning, classrooms and online, new joints are taught in priceless lessons to save lives. The new “Parsis” group is presented to the plane’s crew through a mixed approach of e -learning and practical learning.

The Emirates Airlines crew receives intense medical training to deal with emergency situations during the flight, from fainting and suffocation to breathing difficulties, allergic reactions and sudden diseases. They are also trained to manage injuries, fighting infection and hygiene on board. Life rescue skills such as cardiac resuscitation, pulmonary recovery, use of automatic fibrillation, and even help help using advanced simulation technology.

This comprehensive training is led by the first aid coaches accredited in the field of aviation, at the Training Center for the Emir of Emirates Airlines in Dubai.

Air crew skills

Each year’s crew knowledge and skills are tested in frequent training, the crew is required to complete an online training course for an hour and a half, a two -hour process of cardiac resuscitation, an external fibrillation removal, severe bleeding, and severe sensitivity management, with assessments of each.

Experienced crew members also participate in a flying simulation exercise annually to ensure that they are fully equipped to deal with any medical accidents and their knowledge is updated regularly.

From a psychological perspective, the crew members receive training on how to obtain approval to help travelers, show sympathy for patients and their families, maintain calm, inform the injured in all stages and be with the injured until the situation improves. They also learn how to inform others of difficult news when needed.

After any accident, the crew members are also provided with the necessary support for their psychological health, through the Emirates Airlines Assistance Program, the Support Service, and a health program for the well -being of employees in Emirates Airlines.
