The quarterly profits of “National Education” increased to 40.11 million riyals

The profits of the National Education Company in the second quarter of the period ending January 31, 2025 increased by 17.9% to 40.11 million riyals, compared to 33.99 million riyals in the same quarter of last year.
According to the company’s statement on the circulation of Saudi Arabia, the net profit increased due to the increase in revenues for this quarter by 16% compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
The reason for the rise in the net profit during the current quarter is 5% compared to the previous quarter to the slight rise in revenues from the previous quarter and the decrease in advertising and advertising expenses compared to the previous quarter.
The decrease in advertising and advertising expenses mainly change the end of the company’s fiscal year to 31 of July instead of August 31.
The company said that the largest part of these expenses usually take place during the months of July and August, and therefore the previous quarter (from August 1, 2024 to October 31, 2024) included expenses related to marketing campaigns related to registration for the beginning of the school year, while the current quarter (from 1 November 2024 to January 31, 2025) did not include the months of the expenses of these marketing campaigns.
She added that the increase in net profit in the current period (6 months) by 20% compared to the same period in the previous year due to the increase in revenues for this period by 16% compared to the similar period in the previous year.
It should be noted that advertising and advertising expenses have witnessed an increase during the current period compared to the same period of the previous year.
This rise is mainly due to changing the end of the company’s fiscal year to 31, instead of August 31.
