The success of the first case of “Ako” technology in Prince Mohammed bin Nasser Hospital in Jazan

A medical team at Prince Mohammed bin Nasser Hospital in the Jazan Health Group was able to treat the first case using the membranous oxising technique outside the body, in order to save a patient who suffered from an acute asthma crisis and severe respiratory failure. For the hospital, after improving his condition, he was separated from the industrial respiratory system and removal of ECMO support within two days, to leave in good health care.

It is reported that the technology of the recently launched quality medical services is part of the advanced health care efforts in the region.
