المملكة: For the end of Ramadan, the Central Hajj Committee follows the services of the Grand Mosque and the preparations of the Hajj

Under the direction of the adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince of Makkah Al -Mukarramah Region, Chairman of the Central Hajj Committee, His Royal Highness Prince Khaled Al -Faisal, his deputy, His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, chaired the committee meeting to follow up the progress of the services provided to the people of the Grand Mosque during the blessed month of Ramadan, and to ensure that the preparations for the Hajj season 1446 AH are completed.

The services of the guests of Rahman

During the meeting, the Deputy Governor of Makkah Al -Mukarramah Region reviewed the performance reports of the authorities concerned with serving the guests of Rahman during the Holy Month, in addition to their operational plans for the remaining period of Ramadan. The latest developments related to the regulation of the Hajj have also been discussed, and to ensure the readiness of projects and initiatives that support the convenience of pilgrims.
The meeting dealt with the projects of “Kadana” company in the Holy Places, which include the establishment of restaurants for pilgrims along the pedestrian paths, the development of stripes (drinking water refrigerators) in strategic locations, in addition to the rehabilitation of 400 water browss to ensure their balanced distribution, and the establishment of a network of emergency centers and first aid that includes 15 units distributed along the paths to provide medical and logistical support to pilgrims.
The second phase of the “Path of Feelings” project, which aims to develop an area of ​​170 thousand m², was also reviewed in Muzdalifah by implementing rubber lands, establishing green spaces, and strengthening public facilities such as chairs, stripes, lighting poles, umbrellas, and water spray fans. In addition to creating modern toilets complexes.

Development of first aid equipment

The projects also included the development of emergency centers and first aid in Mina, Muzdalifah and Arafat, through 71 sites along the pedestrian paths, along with the “Spatial Counseling – towards Mina” project, which aims to facilitate the movement of pilgrims within the holy sites by dividing the roads in specific colors with identical guidelines, which contributes to improving the experience of pilgrims and facilitating their management in the field.
The committee concluded its meeting by discussing a number of topics on the agenda, and taking the necessary recommendations to ensure the best services to the guests of Rahman during Ramadan and the optimal preparation for the next Hajj season.
