Mohammed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence hosts a conference "Augmented person" International

Abu Dhabi, March 17 / WAM / Mohammed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence will host the year 2025 of the International Conference on Augmented Man, whose activities were launched yesterday and will continue until March 20 with the aim of exploring the recent developments related to ways to enhance physical, cognitive and cognitive capabilities through digital technologies.

The university has cooperated with the Computing Machinery Association to organize this conference, in which more than 100 prominent personalities participated globally, including researchers, experts and pioneers in the field of artificial intelligence, in order to explore the new innovative technologies used to enhance human capabilities.

This conference will be held for the first time in the Middle East, highlighting the importance of the department of interaction between man and computers launched by the university last year, and its role in attracting world -class research scientists to the region is highlighted in a way that serves the achievement of the UAE’s ambition to promote innovation.

The current session received 77 research papers, which is a large number of research papers, 30 of which will be presented during the activities of the conference, which also includes 20 research posters and workshops and seven direct offers, with the aim of highlighting the innovations achieved in the fields of “brain interfaces” and “machine”, computing techniques that can be worn, external structures, enhanced reality techniques, and reviewing all of these applications. Technologies in different sectors such as health, sports and security.

Professor Elizabeth Churchill, Professor and Head of the Department of Interaction between Man and Computer at Mohammed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence in her speech during the conference, noted that “the idea of ​​promoting human intelligence, human capabilities and capabilities is a long -standing idea”, stressing that the university hosting this international conference that is held for the first time in the Middle East region comes as an embodiment of the state’s keenness to invest widely in the field of artificial intelligence.

The conference hosted a group of prominent researchers and experts from prominent institutions and organizations, including the University of Sydney, MIT Media Lab, Tokyo University, and the German “DFKI” center for artificial intelligence research, to review the developments around the world in the techniques of human capabilities promoting, including biological technology systems, brain and machine, digital health, and arms control mechanisms Robotism from a distance, and highlights the moral and security considerations that accompany it.

For her part, Dr. Yamna Abdel Rahman, the participating president for the 2025 session of the augmented human conference and post -PhD researcher at the University of Bundespter in Munich, explained that this course received the largest number of research papers in the history of the conference, which establishes a new standard for innovation and research in the field of promoting human capabilities, the various and excessive topics that experts deal with in their research, such as the brain and machine facades and techniques The computing that can be worn and the techniques of human intelligence -based human rehabilitation, highlighting the increasing effect of the techniques used to enhance human capabilities on society.

It is noteworthy that the augmented person’s conference established its position as a pioneering forum that deals with the latest developments in the field of promoting human capabilities, and it hosted international research centers such as Melbourne, Ghalasco, Munich, and Tokyo previous sessions of this conference, whose documents are published in the digital library of the Computing Machinery Association, in order to benefit the scientific community from this pioneering research.
