المملكة: “Education” stops the affiliation system for “regular age” students and restores the affiliates
This decision comes after the ministry monitored to convert a number of students into the affiliation system without clear justifications.
The ministry explained that this procedure aims to ensure that all students obtain their full right to regular education, which provides an integrated educational environment and opportunities for social interaction and skills development.
Regular study
The ministry stressed that it will take firm measures towards parents who refuse to return their children to regular study, considering that this refusal represents “harm to the child” and depriving him of his right to education.
The statement added that in the event of exceptional health conditions that prevent the student from attending the study, the guardian must submit official medical reports to the ministry, to take the appropriate action according to each case.
The Ministry stressed that this decision comes within the framework of its keenness to provide an ideal educational environment for all students, and to ensure that they obtain equal opportunities in education, in a way that contributes to building an educated generation and is able to serve its country.
Exceptional health conditions
The Ministry pointed to a number of exceptional health conditions that require study through affiliation, with the need to submit official medical reports to the ministry.
These exceptional situations, and based on previous practices and understanding of the nature of the affiliation system, can include severe disabilities that make daily movement to school very difficult or impossible, even while providing special transportation, or double or multiple sensory disabilities such as extreme deafness and blindness together, which require very specialized educational and qualification programs that may not be fully available in regular schools.
It also includes chronic and intractable diseases, severe autoimmune diseases, severe heart and lung diseases, severe mental and neurological disorders, emergency and temporary medical conditions, infectious diseases that require long -term insulation, to prevent the spread of infection among students. In addition to other very special cases, “rare” may appear very individual cases that require an evaluation by specialized committees in the Ministry of Education.
