The hand union depends on canceling the tie and increasing the number of tournaments in the new season
Dubai, June 18 / WAM / The Emirates Handball Federation has announced the creation of new championships in the categories of men, youth, juniors and cubs, next season, with the aim of enhancing the number of competitions and raising the technical level of the game at all levels.
Al -Ittihad pointed out that the competition system in the new season will witness the cancellation of the state of the league matches for all groups (men, youth, junior), so that the result will be resolved in each match, while the Cubs and Junny League matches will be held by the three -run system, while organizing the buds festivals according to the team recycling system to ensure comprehensive competitiveness.
This came during the coordination meeting held by the Federation with representatives of the member clubs, headed by Dr. Nabil Mohammed bin Ashour, at the headquarters of the UAE Olympic Committee and Sports Listers in Dubai, with the aim of presenting and explaining the competitions of competitions and registration regulations and registration for the sports season 2025-2026, which starts in the last week of August.
Ibn Ashour stressed the importance of the pivotal role that the clubs play in developing the game competitions, noting that the new amendments come in line with the best international practices, and with the Sports Law of the UAE, which pays special attention to sports companies and academies.
For his part, Engineer Assem Al -Saadani, the technical expert of the federation, explained that the new amendments and developments depend on the increase in the number of matches, in addition to raising the participation rate of the “second category” players – including citizens, residents, and professionals – to reach 18% as a maximum of the total players of each team, with the aim of supporting national teams and expanding the base of practitioners.
He pointed out that the new regulations include major amendments to the conditions for registration and registration of players, including determining the number of players in the basic lists, organizing the participation of the second category players, the escalation of the players between the groups, and the mechanisms of registration and participation of the resident players.
