Wealthy travelers raise the demand for luxury hotels in Dubai

She confirmed that about 70% of the total new supply in 2025 will be in the category of luxury and upscale rooms.

“Cavindish Maxwell” stated that, based on the directions of the average daily price from 2022 to 2024 and the Dubai Dubai Dinx Dynamics, it is expected that the average daily price of 2025 will reach 698 dirhams, which reflects a slight growth that raises slightly over 1.0% compared to the number of 2024 of 690 dirhams, stressing that the hospitality sector in Dubai is witnessing maturity Increasing, with price stability increased.

The company continued in its report: “Dubai’s ability to attract major events and wealthy travelers remain a major factor in the average daily price of hotel rooms.”

She pointed out that Dubai International Airport has achieved a new record in the global aviation sector, by receiving 92.3 million passengers in 2024, recording the highest annual rate in the movement of passengers ever, indicating a strong demand that may carry momentum until 2025.

She expected the continuous flow of visitors to maintain good occupancy rates, which indirectly supports the average growth of the room price.

She stated that in addition to this, the expansion of the luxury hotel sector in Dubai generally contributes to the high rate of the room, as high -end facilities achieve distinctive prices and meet the needs of wealthy customers.

“Cavindish Maxwell” stated that in 2024 Dubai recorded a new record in the tourism sector, as it received 18.7 million inmates, an increase of 9.1% over 17.1 million visitors recorded in 2023, noting that this growth is in line with the Dubai Economic Agency D33, which aims to put Dubai between the three best international tourist destinations.

She explained that this momentum was achieved thanks to the distinguished performance of Dubai at the 31st World Travel Awards ceremony in late 2024, as the city won the title of “shopping and exhibitions globally”, while “Port of Rashid” won the title of “pioneering cruises globally”, and Dubai International Airport won the title of “globally leading airport”.

The company emphasized that this continuous international appreciation confirms the confidence of investors and establishes Dubai’s position as a leading global center in the hospitality and real estate development sector, while the emirate continues to achieve strong growth in the tourism sector, beyond levels of pre-Kofid-19, and contributing to economic growth positively.
