Sharjah, March 19 / WAM / The “Grand Heart Foundation” sent an invitation to mobilize humanitarian efforts for individuals and institutions with the aim of supporting the “Olive Children” campaign launched by the wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Muhammad Al Qasimi, head of the Big Heart Foundation, prominent support for refugee children at the High Commissioner for Refugees and aims to care for more than 20 thousand orphans in Gaza and secure their right to education, health care, psychological support and needs The basic until they reach the age of adulthood, in partnership with the Palestinian Cooperation Foundation.
This came during a Ramadan suhoor organized by the Foundation yesterday evening at the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Complex in Sharjah, during which a group of prominent figures and donors hosted representatives of humanitarian institutions and businessmen in addition to supporters of the public and private sectors.
Dialogue sessions that reviewed the impact of humanitarian work, the role of official and private institutions and individuals in overcoming the humanitarian challenges suffered by orphans in Gaza were held and included the organization of an art exhibition for the work of a group of creators from the University of Sharjah University, allocated the proceeds of his sales to support the campaign as it collected 90 thousand dirhams.
Alia Obaid Al -Misibi, Director of the Grand Heart Foundation, confirmed that the campaign “Peace Ya Sagher” since its inception seventeen years ago was the first seed that was implanted by the wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Muhammad Al Qasimi, head of the Grand Heart Foundation, to be the nucleus of a firm humanitarian commitment to Palestinian children, and today the commitment of the institution is still alive.
