Most regions of the Kingdom are witnessing an expected rain event during the period from tomorrow, Monday, March 23, until Saturday, March 28, with intensity ranging from light, medium, and heavy, accompanied by a number of accompanying weather phenomena, according to the weather report issued by The National Center of Meteorology.

The Center explained that the regions of Tabuk, Al-Jawf, Hail, and the northern borders will be affected by Medina The situation includes Yanbu, Al-Ula, Khaybar, Al-Eis, Wadi Al-Far’ and Badr, with heavy rains expected to intensify on the evening of Wednesday, March 25, until Thursday, March 26, 2026, while the effects will later extend to Al-Mahd, Al-Hanakiyah, and Medina.

Makkah Al-Mukarramah Rains

As for the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, the governorates of Jeddah, Khulais, Bahra, and Rabigh will witness light to moderate rains daily. Tuesday, March 24 and Wednesday, March 25, 2026, turning to moderate to heavy on Thursday, March 26.

The condition also includes the Holy Capital, Al-Jumum, Al-Kamil, Al-Qunfudhah, and Al-Layth, in addition to Taif, Maysan, Adham, Al-Ardiyat, Turabah, Al-Khurma, and Raniyah, with the condition expected to intensify on Thursday.

In the Al-Baha and Asir regions, rain will continue from Monday, March 23, until Friday, March 27, 2026 in Al-Baha, until Saturday, March 28, 2026 in Asir, and its intensity ranges from moderate to heavy, with the possibility of intensification on Wednesday, March 25 and Thursday, March 26 in Al-Baha, and on Thursday, March 26 and Friday, March 27 in Asir, and includes a number of governorates, including Baljurashi, Al-Mandaq, Al-Makhwah, Al-Namas, Mahayil Asir, Khamis Mushayt, Ahad Rufaidah, Bisha, and Dhahran Al-Janoub.

The Jazan region is also affected by moderate to heavy rains from Monday, March 23, until Saturday, March 28, 2026, intensifying on Thursday, March 26, and Friday, March 27, and includes the governorates of Al-Reith, Harub, Fayfa, Al-Arda, and Al-Harth, in addition to Jizan, Sabya, Abu Arish, Samtah, Al-Tuwal, and Farasan during Friday, March 27, and Saturday, March 28.

In the Najran region, the situation begins with light to moderate rain. From Monday, March 23 until Wednesday, March 25, 2026, activity resumes on the evening of Thursday, March 26 until Friday, March 27, becoming moderate to heavy, and includes Najran, Badr al-Janoub, Thar, Sharurah, Yadmah, and Habouna.

The Riyadh region will witness light to moderate rain from Monday, March 23 until Wednesday, March 25, 2026, including the capital, Riyadh, and the governorates of Zulfi, Majma’ah, Diriyah, Dalam, Al-Kharj, and Afif. And Dawadmi, while its intensity increases to moderate and heavy on Thursday, March 26 and Friday, March 27, and the situation extends to Wadi Al-Dawasir, Al-Salil, and Al-Aflaj until Friday.

Rain in the Eastern Region

The Qassim region is also affected by light to moderate rain from Monday, March 23 until Wednesday, March 25, 2026, turning to moderate to heavy rain on Thursday, March 26, and includes Buraidah, Al-Rass, Al-Bukayriyah, Al-Madhab, Al-Nabhaniya, and Al-Asiyah. And Uqlat Al-Saqour.

In the eastern region, the situation includes Hafar Al-Batin and Al-Khafji with moderate to heavy rain from Monday, March 23, until Thursday, March 26, 2026, while Dammam, Al-Khobar, Qatif, Jubail, Ras Tanura, Abqaiq, Al-Nairiya, and Al-Ahsa will be affected by heavy rain from Monday, March 23, until Friday, March 27, with the situation expected to intensify on Wednesday, March 25, and Thursday, March 26, 2026.

The report indicated that the rainy situation may be accompanied by activity in descending winds that stir up dirt and dust, torrential rains, hail, and rising waves on the coasts, with the possibility of the formation of tornadoes or waterfalls in some locations, calling for continuous follow-up updates through official early warning channels.
