The fencing team is participating in the world championships in Morocco and China

The UAE team is preparing to participate in two international championships, namely the IP World Cup for men and women in Morocco at the end of this March, and the World Cubs and Junior Championships in China during the month of April.

The Emirates Fencing Federation announced a list of 6 players to participate in the IP World Cup, hosted by the Moroccan city of Marrakech during the period from 27 to 30 March, namely Imran Al -Balushi, Mohamed Al -Mazmi, Saleh Al -Balushi, Khalifa Al -Zarouni, Zainab Al -Hosani, and Sheikh Al -Zaabi, under the leadership of Russian coach George Lamnov.

As for the World Cubs and Junior Championships in China, it will be held in the city of Wishi during the period from 7 to 15 April, with the participation of 15 players, and they are Hazza Al -Abri, Rashid Mubarak, Abdullah Al -Kindi, Lian Thabet (the weapon of the Saber), Al -Hayam Al -Balushi, Faris Al -Balushi, Abdul Rahman Mubarak (the Floorian Corps), Hamdan Saif, Saleh Al -Balushi, Muhammad Al -Obaidli, (IP weapon).

Musa Al -Balushi, Secretary -General of the Emirates Fencing Federation, stressed that the upcoming championships are an important station to confirm the position of fencing in the Emirates and enhance its presence on the global scene.

He explained that the national team in all its Sunni stages is currently running a local preparatory camp with the participation of coaches and players from the Italian national team to assess the technical level before the upcoming competitions, and the camp is scheduled to conclude next Saturday.
