Ras Al Khaimah Police participates in "Earth Hour"

Ras Al Khaimah, March 23 / WAM / The General Command of Ras Al Khaimah Police participated in the annual world celebration of the “Earth Hour”, by extinguishing all lighting lamps in the General Command building, for an hour, from eight to nine in the evening yesterday.

In compliance with the strategy of the Ministry of Interior, the Ras Al Khaimah Police always supports and stimulates green applications by participating in the “Earth Hour”, and contributing to reducing electricity consumption, and thus contributing to facing the environmental challenges faced by our planet, as extinguishing all unnecessary lights and devices for one hour, is an encouragement to spread the culture of promoting creative initiatives that contribute to preserving nature and protecting the environment.

The police are keen to participate in supporting the efforts made, both at the state level, or all over the world, in order to protect the planet, and to enhance the principle of sustainability and rationalize electricity consumption as a joint responsibility, calling on all members of society to commit to encouraging and applying these positive environmental initiatives, which contribute to preserving the safety of the planet.
