Sponsored by Mohammed Al Sharqi.. Fujairah concludes the activities of the 4th edition of the Fitness Challenge Championship
FUJAIRAH, 18 JANUARY / WAM / Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, witnessed the conclusion of the activities of the fourth edition of the “UAE Storm Games – Fujairah” Fitness Challenge Championship, which was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, at the Al Bahar Hotel and Resort during the period from 16 to 18 January, in the presence of Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi.
About 200 players, both male and female, representing more than 40 countries participated in the tournament, after the qualifiers witnessed the participation of more than 320 male and female players, competing in the professional, amateur and team categories, in addition to the participation of an elite group of the most prominent international and local players.
The tournament is considered one of the most prominent high-level fitness competitions, as it lasted over three days and included various challenges in speed, strength, endurance, weight pushing and gymnastics skills, as part of a strong competition that tests the participants’ physical and technical abilities and their resilience in the face of the most difficult exercises.
The closing ceremony was attended by a group of personalities and officials in the Emirate of Fujairah, in addition to a number of sports leaders and those interested in fitness, amid a successful festive atmosphere.
