Al -Qassim Heart Center saves the life of a Yemeni child with a heart catheter

Divine care and then with urgent medical intervention saved the life of a Yemeni child at the Prince Sultan Center for Heart Medicine and Surgery in the Children’s Department, a member of the Qassim Health Group, who is two years old and 3 months and a weight of 14 kilos suffering from a ventricular hole and intervention was carried out without surgery through a successful cardiac catheter. To conduct medical and clinical examinations, which showed that he has a ventricular hole and expanded in the heart rooms, for the medical team to decide after reviewing the results of medical examinations and studying the case to the need for an urgent medical intervention, which is the work of a diagnostic and treatment catheter, during which the ventricular hole was closed through a special plug in a record time that did not exceed 90 minutes, and praise be to God successful.

The assembly indicated that the Prince Sultan Center for Cardiac Medicine and Surgery is characterized by the presence of specialized and qualified medical and technical cadres to conduct such specific and accurate medical interventions, and it receives such cases on a daily basis and around the clock, which has received approval and satisfaction of the service recipient, noting that the center is one of the most important specialized medical centers in the Kingdom.
