Lifting sanctions on Russia will be a diplomatic disaster

Today’s summit gathered representatives of about 30 countries in the French capital, Paris, in addition to the heads of NATO “NATO” and the European Union in a sensitive stage of the war between Russia and Ukraine, in light of the intensification of diplomatic efforts to mediate the ceasefire driven by US President Donald Trump to end the fighting.
Ukrainian President Folodimir Zellinski posted a picture from within the summit, his gathering with other leaders standing together, and attached it to a comment: “Europe knows how to defend itself, and we must prove that.”

Lifting sanctions on Russia

“The lifting of sanctions on Russia at the present time will be a diplomatic catastrophe,” Zellinski said.
Russia had called for the lifting of sanctions to fulfill its conditions to reach a ceasefire in the Black Sea.
The White House said it would contribute to the redemption of Russia to the global market for fertilizer exports and agricultural products, but he did not acknowledge the terms of Moscow.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that Russia’s demands will be evaluated and will be presented to President Trump.
