The International Foundation stated in a report that “Emirates Today” received a copy of it, that Dubai International Airport retained its position as the largest axis of air transport in the world in April 2025. Dubai International recorded about 5.16 million last March, 4.78 million seats in February and 5.3 million seats in January 2025.
Strong performance
This increase in the seat capacity at Dubai International Airport comes with the airport attracting new airlines, opening more destinations, as well as operating additional flights to existing destinations, after he recorded a strong international traffic performance over the year 2024.

Dubai International Airport laid a new standard in the global aviation sector after receiving 92.3 million passengers in 2024, which is the highest annual traffic movement ever in the history of the airport. This achievement exceeds the previous record of 89.1 million passengers that was achieved in 2018.
Dubai International Airport runs flights to 272 destinations in 107 countries, served by 106 international airlines.
