The General Assembly approved the minutes of the meeting of the ordinary general assembly held on April 28, 2024, and approved the annual report of the Board of Directors for the Chamber’s activity for the year 2024, and approved the financial situation and the report of the external account auditor for the fiscal year 2024, and agreed to nominate the board of directors to appoint (BDO) as an external auditor for the Chamber for the fiscal year 2025, and authorize the Board of Directors By negotiating with the company and concluding the contract with it.
As for the item of the new works, the General Assembly agreed to amend Article (26) of Decree Law No. (48) for the year 2012 and Article (30) of the executive regulations of the decree regarding the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and delegating the Board of Directors to take the necessary legal measures, in coordination with the executive and legislative authority, to amend the Chamber’s law and its executive regulations, in order to achieve the registration of the registration for members in choosing the president from among them.
