Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health: UAE is a global model in developing health care systems

Dubai, April 6 / WAM / His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Salim Al -Ulama, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Community Protection, affirmed that the UAE continues to enhance its regional and global position in the health sector, based on a forward -looking vision supported by wise leadership, and an integrated approach based on innovation and sustainability, until it has become a global model in developing health care systems, depending on the latest technologies and smart solutions, which strengthened the state’s ability to deal with health developments efficiently.
He pointed out in a statement today, on the occasion of World Health Day, which falls on April 7 of each year, that the UAE’s commitment to improving the quality of health services, enhancing prevention and awareness, and expanding the scope of strategic partnerships reflects its leadership in ensuring a healthy and sustainable life for its society, according to the highest international standards.
He added that the UAE is keeping pace with this year’s World Health Day, which was launched by the World Health Organization, under the slogan “a health start for a promising future” to protect the health of mothers and births, and coincides with the “Year of Society”, which the mother and child are its basic pillars.
Dr. Al -Ulama pointed out that the ministry is making all efforts, by developing advanced strategies that guarantee integrated health care for mothers and births, and enhances women’s health and welfare in the long run, so that the UAE continues its pivotal role in building more prosperous societies through sustainable investment in the health of future generations, and consolidating a healthy system that demonstrates national commitment to build generations that enjoy the quality of healthy life.
