The Speaker of the Arab Parliament denounces the misleading media allegations targeting the UAE and Qatar

Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Yamahi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament, denounced the misleading media reports and allegations that are circulating, lacking accuracy and objectivity, and targeting the United Arab Emirates and the State of Qatar, in a miserable attempt to undermine their efforts, status, and effective role in supporting security and stability at the regional and international levels.

He stressed in a statement that such proposals do not serve the interests of the peoples of the region, and contribute to creating confusion and distorting facts, at a time when the current challenges require strengthening cooperation and solidarity between Arab countries to confront crises and consolidate the foundations of development and peace.

He pointed out that the United Arab Emirates and the State of Qatar played important roles in supporting diplomatic initiatives and efforts aimed at resolving conflicts and addressing crises, reflecting a clear commitment to the principles of cooperation, partnership, and joint work in order to achieve development and prosperity for the peoples of the region.

Al-Yamahi stressed that the Arab Parliament strongly rejects media misinformation campaigns and attempts to sow division, stressing that Arab solidarity, respect for the sovereignty of countries, and non-interference in their internal affairs represent basic pillars for preserving the security and stability of the region.
