“Specialized eyes” warns: the allegations of the benefits of the eyelid to improve “misleading” vision.

King Khalid Specialist Hospital for Eye and Research Center has warned members of society about widespread allegations through social media platforms on alleged benefits of what is known as “eclipse solution” in improving the ability to see or the possibility of dispensing with the wearing of medical glasses.

The hospital emphasized that this circulating information is misleading and completely lacking any reliable scientific evidence that supports it, indicating that it is promoted by unqualified and unlicensed people with the aim of achieving commercial gains.

He explained that “a reference to what is being promoted via social media platforms about the benefits of what is claimed to be like the solution to improve vision, and dispense with glasses.”

Stressing that such allegations are not based on any reliable scientific basis in the medical field.

The specialized hospital, a pioneering reference in ophthalmology in the Kingdom, warned that people who promote this information are often not having the necessary health licenses that allow them to provide any kind of consulting or medical treatments, and that their primary motivation is commercial marketing of products that may be insecure or ineffective.

King Khalid Eye Specialist Hospital stressed extreme importance, which is the need to draw all medical information, especially those related to sensitive eye health, from its official and accredited sources only, such as specialized doctors and reliable health institutions.

He urged all members of society to be careful and not to believe the unreliable advertisements, stressing that “keenness on your safety requires that medical information be drawn from its official sources.”
