Attorney General of the Federation: Zayed Humanitarian Work Day renews the UAE’s pledge to the path of giving and solidarity
Abu Dhabi, 8 March / WAM / His Excellency Advisor Dr. Hamad Saif Al Shamsi stressed that Zayed Humanitarian Work Day represents a solid national occasion in which we commemorate the great humanitarian legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, who established a unique model of giving and humanitarian work.
His Excellency said that this day embodies a renewed national message to inspire the founding leader’s approach in establishing a culture of giving and social responsibility, and promoting the values of compassion and solidarity, which constitute basic pillars in building a cohesive and secure society, based on cooperation, solidarity, and human service.
He explained that the Emirati family remains the primary incubator for instilling these noble values in the souls of generations, in a way that enhances their awareness of their national and humanitarian role, and instills in them the spirit of responsibility and initiative to serve the nation, society and humanity.
He stressed that the UAE, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, is continuing the process of giving, the foundations of which were laid by the Founding Fathers, and consolidating its global presence as a pioneering model in humanitarian work and consolidating the values of peace, coexistence and solidarity among peoples.
He stressed that Zayed’s humanitarian values become increasingly important in times that require the highest levels of awareness and social responsibility, as the Emirati society always demonstrates its cohesion, unity, and rally around its wise leadership to preserve the nation’s security and stability and preserve its gains.
His Excellency concluded by emphasizing that Zayed Humanitarian Work Day will remain a renewed national occasion to consolidate the values on which the UAE was founded, thus enhancing its position as a beacon of goodness, giving and peace in the world.
