A volcano eruption in the middle of the Philippines in the early hours of Tuesday morning fired a column of ash in the sky, with a height of four kilometers, amid calls to close local schools.
The Canalon volcano is one of 24 active volcanoes in the country in Southeast Asia, and has previously revolted in December and caused the evacuation of villages around it.
The area surrounding the volcano on the island of Negros was still under evictions when the volcano began to slander the ashes on Tuesday.

In a statement, the Filipino Institute of Volcanology and earthquakes announced in a statement that the eruption of the Canalon volcano “started at 5.51 this morning”, as it launched a “huge curved column of smoke at a height of about four kilometers.”
The institute later reported that the volcano eruption stopped at 6.47 am (22,47 GMT).
Videos posted on social media showed a smoke column slowing slowly towards the sky.

The evacuation of housing in the vicinity of the volcano

“We were ready for the eruption. Families who live within a range ranged between 4 and 6 kilometers were evacuated during the previous eruption last December,” John de Assis, an official in the rescue service of a municipality of Negros Oxidental, told AFP.
“We are now only watching the villages that will be affected by the fall of volcanic ash,” he added, noting that they recommended “the cancellation of study and work in the municipality.”

The population is ready to evacuate

The 22 -year -old Chanel Nikor said she was waiting for the bus she would move to school when Turan began the volcano.
“The sound looked as if a large rock fell from a high place, then I looked up and saw the ash cloud growing more and more than the volcano,” she added.
“When I saw the ashes, I of course felt tense, but not as much as tension during the previous eruption, because this time we know what we must do.”
The third level warning level, out of five levels, has been unchanged since the December eruption.
Last September, hundreds of residents were evacuated after the volcano fired thousands of tons of harmful gases in one day.
