Hamdan bin Zayed receives a delegation from the Emirates Nuclear Energy Company

Abu Dhabi, April 10 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, representative of the ruler in the Al -Dhafra region, received a delegation from the Emirates Nuclear Energy Company headed by His Excellency Mohamed Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Managing Director and CEO of the Foundation.
The meeting comes within the framework of His Highness’s keenness and continuous follow -up to development plans and current and future projects in the Al Dhafra region. His Highness listened to a detailed explanation about the developments of the Barakah Petroleum Stations Project for Peaceful Nuclear Energy and the achievements that were achieved during the last period.
His Highness expressed his pride in the Emirati competencies working in this vital strategic project, praising their perseverance and high professionalism that enabled them to lead multiple experiences and cultures and achieve these achievements at this record time.
His Highness said that, thanks to the forward -looking vision of the wise leadership, the United Arab Emirates has become a forerunner in diversifying its energy sources, which reflects its firm commitment to achieving sustainable development and ensuring a safe and stable future for future generations.
His Highness added that peaceful nuclear energy projects constitute a model to be followed in strategic planning and highly efficient implementation, and contribute effectively to supporting the national economy and reducing carbon emissions, in line with the country’s goals in climate neutrality and achieving environmental sustainability.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Excellency Nasser Mohammed Al Mansouri, Undersecretary of the Court of the Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra region, His Excellency Issa Hamad Bou Shehab, Advisor to His Highness the Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region, and a number of officials.
