Fujairah on April 11/ WAM/ His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, affirmed the leading position of the Emirate of Fujairah in the Culture and Arts sector, and its important role in supporting the theater in general, and the art of monodrama in particular.

This came during the attendance of His Highness, the opening ceremony of the Fujairah International Monodrama Festival, which is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, at the Creative Center Theater in Fujairah, in the presence of Sheikh Dr. Rashid bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Authority for Culture and Information, Sheikh Maktoum bin Hamad Al Sharqi, His Excellency Ahmed Fouad Hano, Egyptian Minister of Culture, guest of honor of the festival, Muhammad Saeed Al -Dhanhani, Director of the Emiri Diwan in Fujairah, Chairman of the Supreme Committee organizing the festival.

His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah pointed to the keenness of the Emirate of Fujairah, led by His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Muhammad Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, to support and care for cultural and artistic projects that enhance the presence of the emirate in the Arab world and globally through cultural openness to all creative experiences and highlight the common human values ​​between the peoples of the world.

His Highness noted the importance of the Fujairah International Monodrama Festival since its beginnings in attracting theatrical and artists from around the world, through the most important and most prominent work of monodrama, which raises many human and social topics that concern the individual wherever he is, and opens the horizons of civilized dialogue between different cultures, and contributes to enhancing the values ​​of coexistence, understanding and openness to the other.

His Excellency Mohammed Saeed Al -Dhanhani, Director of the Emiri Diwan in Fujairah, Chairman of the Supreme Committee Organizing the Festival, said in his speech during the opening ceremony: “ And your discussions and suggestions, so it has been written for him to continue and shine, and the great technical council that expands for all the nationalities of the land became, and the innocent, and the enlightening, the enlightening of the law of the state of the state.

The opening ceremony included a lyric theatrical performance entitled “From Fujairah to the beginning of the sun”, reviewing artistic, theatrical and lyrical paintings on Fujairah, and its cultural history.

The opening was attended by His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al -Zyoudi, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah, and a large group of theatrical, artists and interested in Fujairah.
