The Food and Drug Authority carried out 651 inspection rounds during the month of February 2025 AD, which resulted in the seizure of 50 violating establishments and 61 varieties of products that do not conform to the regulatory regulations, as part of its continuous commitment to ensure the safety of food and pharmaceutical products, and to ensure that they comply with the approved standards.
The tours resulted in the closure of a facility that stores banned products, unregistered pharmaceutical preparations, unlikely cosmetic products, distributed them in the markets, and the liberalization of 64,163 violating products.

Strict control

The regulatory teams also monitored warehouses in the city of Tabuk, who were carrying out the activity without a license, while storing food products with scrap, amid a decline in the level of hygiene, and therefore regular measures were taken against violators, which included the closure of warehouse and 55,000 kg of foodstuffs and 600 cosmetic packages.
The authority also seized an electronic store that is marketed for violating products via social media, where marketing content was monitored for violating and unsafe cosmetic and nutritional products, which necessitated taking the necessary regular measures; To ensure the protection of the market and the consumer.
The authority emphasized the continuation of its supervisory efforts; To ensure the commitment of facilities and warehouses to regulations, noting the necessity of reporting any violation that is being monitored through the unified number 19999, in order to preserve the safety of consumers.
