Prince Sultan University embraces the eighth edition of the International Women’s Conference on Data Science

Today, the activities of the eighth edition of the International Women’s Conference on Data Science (Wids PSU 2025) began, organized by Prince Sultan University, and in cooperation with Stanford University, with the participation and presence of a number of local and international specialists, along with a group of women leaders in the fields of higher education, industry, and scientific research. The President of Prince Sultan University, Dr. Ahmed bin Saleh Al -Yamani, affirmed that cooperation with Stanford University comes within an ambitious vision to develop scientific knowledge and enhance innovation, stressing that women today are not only part of the scene of the transformation, but are also at the forefront of decision -makers and change in the areas of artificial intelligence and sustainability, indicating that women have exceeded the stage of breaking barriers, to become a leader in technology paths, research and leadership, thanks to reforms Quality empowerment strategy and programs.

It also announced the launch of the “Motivation of researchers in their careers”, a research training program that extends for a full year aimed at refining the skills of researchers, and developing their capabilities in early stages of their scientific career.
