“Health of Qurayyat” requires a healthy and expatriate practice that appeared in a violating visual advertisement

The office of the Ministry of Health in Al -Qurayyat Governorate summoned one of the health practices after its appearance in visual content via social media, which includes misleading information about the conduct of cosmetic operations in one of the private clinics, in addition to advertising practices contrary to the system of practicing health professions, its executive regulations, and relevant regulations. According to the fifth and eighth articles of the system of practicing health professions and its executive regulations, and a guide to the ethics and behaviors of the health practitioner, the regular measures were taken against the content publisher, and was referred to the General Authority for Media Regulation, to complete the regular procedures regarding the violating content.

The Ministry of Health stresses the importance of health practitioners commitment to professional systems and controls, stressing that the production or publication of any content includes professional violations, or promotes wrong or misleading information, which is considered one of the actions that can be classified as an information crime, which is subjected to the perpetrator of the established penalties, which may reach five years in prison, or a financial fine of up to three million riyals.
