Sketch "Best amateurs" And Bratori is a title "Emirates Challenge" For golf

Ajman, April 13 / WAM / Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al -Nuaimi, Vice President of the National Olympic Committee, was crowned the Italian player Renato Paratory with the title of the Emirates Golf Challenge Championship.

Ahmed Skik, our national team player, won the award for the best amateur player, after achieving the best result among all amateur players of different nationalities in the tournament, achieving a historic achievement after he became the first Emirati Haw player to qualify for the closing rounds in one of the European Golf round tournaments.

Skik finished the first two tour of the tournament with a total of 4 strikes under the rate, specifically when he starred in the second round in which he achieved 5 strikes under the rate, then finished the competitions in the 69th place, with a total of 3 strikes above the rate.

The tournament concluded today at Al -Zawra and Yakhut Club in Ajman, and was held in cooperation between the Emirates Golf Federation and the European round, in the international “Hotl Planner” competitions, and its prizes are 300 thousand US dollars.

The coronation ceremony, Walid Al -Attar, member of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Golf Federation, George Saad, CEO of Al -Zawra Real Estate Development Company, Tom Phillips, CEO of the DB World tour in the Middle East, and Akram Skik, Director of the Emirates Golf Federation.

Paratory concluded the four rounds of the tournament with 22 strikes under the rate, ahead of South African Jesse Richie, who achieved 20 strikes under the rate, and came in third place in American Dan Ericsson with 17 strikes under the rate.

Skik stressed that he feels more confident to compete with the world’s players, especially since the Emirati golf is facing the best stage after winning the Gulf Championship title, and he looks forward to more successes in the upcoming entitlements, and benefit from international championships.

On the other hand, international competitions continue to hold the Abu Dhabi Challenge championship in Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club from April 17 to 20.
