المملكة: The start of implementing the decision to raise the settlement rates to 4 health professions in the private sector

In partnership with the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development announced the start of the implementation of the first phase of the decision to raise the settlement rates to four health professions in the private sector.
This comes as of Thursday 19 Shawwal 1446 AH corresponding to April 17, 2025 AD, according to the approved professional definitions and names.

Raise the localization rates to 4 health professions in the private sector

This decision comes within the framework of the efforts of the two ministries aimed at enhancing the participation of national competencies in the labor market, and providing stimulating and productive job opportunities for citizens and citizens in various regions of the Kingdom, in support of the goals of the labor market strategy and the health sector transformation program.
The decision aims to localize professions: radiology by 65%, treatment and physiotherapy by 80%, and medical laboratories by 70%, with the minimum wage of the specialist at 7,000 riyals, and a technician with 5,000 riyals.
The first phase of the decision is applied to all the facilities in which one or more worker works in the main cities: (Riyadh, Makkah Al -Mukarramah, Madinah, Jeddah, Dammam and Al -Khobar).

It also applies to the major and giant facilities in the rest of the Kingdom, while the second stage of application begins on October 17, 2025 AD; To include the rest of the establishments in various regions.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development confirmed its deployment of procedural evidence on its website to clarify the details of the decision and the required resettlement rates.
All installations called for adherence to application to avoid the regular penalties prescribed for violators. This decision comes as a continuation of the efforts to localize health professions, as the Ministry of Health follows up the implementation of the decision in proportion to the needs of the labor market.

Support and incentives programs

Private sector facilities will also benefit from the support and motivations programs offered by the human resources and social development system, which include supporting polarization and training operations.
As well as qualification, employment, and job continuation, as well as the priority of benefiting from resettlement support programs and the programs of the Human Resources Development Fund “Hadaf”.
