The Czechie intends to dispense with Russian oil after the opening of a new pipeline

Czech Prime Minister Peter Viela said that his country will not import oil from Russia anymore, during the opening of a new link to the Trans Al -Bayn pipeline (which passes through the Alps) in Newhazivis City in the north of the country.
The new pipeline is scheduled to provide the Czech Republic with crude oil, which is brought through the Italian port of Treiste on the Adriatic coast, and the pipeline capacity has been increased as part of the Trisk Alpine -Plus project.

“This is a truly historic moment. After 60 years, we finally ended our dependence on Russia, and this is important and good news, so Russia will no longer be able to blackmail us by stopping the oil supplies.”
The Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary obtained an exemption from the European Union sanctions imposed on Russia, which allowed these countries to continue to import Russian oil.
