"Capacity development to qualify people of determination" It organizes the 15th sports championship

Abu Dhabi, April 18/ WAM/ The Capacity Development Center for Rehabilitation of People of Determination organized yesterday the fifteenth sports championship for people of determination under the slogan “The start of the challenge”, under the patronage of Sheikha Salama bint Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, President of the Liwan Foundation for Culture and Heritage, Honorary President of the Center, and in cooperation with Al -Jazeera Sports Club.
The opening was attended by members of the center’s board of directors, parents, public school delegates and businesswomen in the country.
Dr. Samira Salem Harzallah, Director and founder of the Capacity Development Center, said that the distinguished level that the UAE has reached in the field of service and care for people of determination, reflects the extent of the humanitarian trend in its most wonderful forms and the insightful vision of the wise leadership of the rights of people of determination.
She emphasized that the center seeks, through this tournament, to enhance social responsibility towards supporting this category in multiple fields, including the sports field to advance their capabilities.
Harz Allah, the parents, called for attending championships with their children to document the importance of these activities for their children.
For his part, Dr. Mohamed Fouda, a psychologist at the center and educational supervisor, stressed that this event comes in line with the awareness campaign held by the center for 17 years, pointing out that the championship included students of the spectrum of autism and mental disability and the Dawn we will grow because of its social, psychological and behavioral impact on them, stressing the importance of spreading awareness in order to reach the development of their skills and creativity.
A number of students of the Ashbar Al -Quds School made a sports offer, in addition to a number of exhibition shows for schools, and companies, individuals and institutions sponsoring this sports event were honored.
37 schools and schools for people with determination participated in the sports level – and the total number of participants in the games with anxiety was 400 male and female students, while the tournament was attended by 450 private and government school students.
The games varied in the event, according to the age groups of students from the age of 6 years to 17 years and over, and included the running running, zigzagi running, basketball, and the transfer of balls and correction.
At the end of the event, the winners were honored, where the Capacity Development Center won first place, and Al -Manara Mohammed bin Zayed School won the second position, while the Al -Nour Center for the Rehabilitation of People of Determination won the third place, and medals were distributed to the winning students with determination.
