المملكة: Bird flu .. the most prominent axes

The National Center for the Prevention and Control of Vevere and Animal Diseases reviewed the “Waqa”, the updated operational measures related to biotechnology in the dairy and rural education sector, within the framework of its continuous endeavors to enhance the sustainability of this vital sector in the Kingdom.
This came during the first meeting of the Technical Committee of the Veterinary Council of Dairy, which was organized by the center.

Important axes

The meeting discussed a set of important axes, as the results of the epidemic survey conducted to monitor the prevailing animal diseases in the sector were reviewed.
Participants discussed the proposed mechanisms to regulate the process of disclosing the quantities of antimicrobials used in dairy projects, with the aim of following up and monitoring their use in a responsible manner.
The meeting also touched on the global developments related to animal health, including the classification of the International Animal Organization “WOAH” for high -virgin bird flu as one of the emerging diseases that can affect cows, which requires raising the level of vigilance and readiness.
During the meeting, the epidemiological situation of the foot -and -mouth disease was discussed, its spread at the local and global levels, and ways to enhance and control procedures for controlling and control.

Preventive procedures

This meeting comes within the efforts made by the “Waqa” center to unify the visions and coordination between the various government agencies and the private sector, with the aim of applying effective preventive and treatment procedures that ensure the health and basis of plant and animal wealth.
The center is constantly seeking to discuss existing challenges and invest the opportunities available to enhance animal health in the Kingdom, in line with the “one health” approach that links human health, animal and the environment.
