Abu Dhabi University launches 17 new academic programs in various specializations

Abu Dhabi University has announced the launch of 17 new academic programs starting from the semester of the fall of 2026/2025, which was designed to keep pace with the emerging challenges and international opportunities.
The bachelor’s and graduate and doctorate stages include after obtaining accreditation from the Academic Accreditation Commission in the UAE, as part of its commitment to enhancing academic excellence.
These programs reflect the strategic focus that the university directs towards building a diverse and dynamic educational system, and includes vital areas such as international relations, psychology, artificial intelligence, renewable energy, cybersecurity, public health, financial technology and cybersecurity, smart systems and digital transformation.
Professor Ghassan Awad, Director of Abu Dhabi University said: “By merging these specialties in our study programs, Abu Dhabi University continues to enhance its commitment to providing high -quality education within various specializations, in line with the national priorities of the UAE and enhances its pioneering position on the international academic scene. Which paves the way for success and excellence in their fields and to be able to put their positive imprint in the region and the world.
At the level of the Bachelor’s degree, Abu Dhabi University will introduce five new programs: Bachelor of International Relations, Bachelor of Psychology, Bachelor of Arts in the design of video games, Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence, and Bachelor of Science in Renewable and Sustainable Energy Engineering. These programs aim to provide students with qualitative basic skills that meet the requirements of the changing global labor market, with a focus on developing critical thinking, creativity and innovation.
The university also expands in graduate programs by offering eight new specialized programs designed to meet the needs of the emerging sectors. These programs include: Master of Science in Financial Technology, Master of Science in Strategic Digital Transformation, Master of Education in Education and Artificial Intelligence Technology, Master of Law in Cyber Law and Artificial Intelligence, Master of Science in Public Health, Master of Arts in Digital Communication and Technology, Master of Science in Cyber Security, and Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence. These programs were developed to provide students with advanced knowledge and applied skills that qualify them to succeed in these sectors that are rapidly growing, and contribute to supporting the knowledge economy in the UAE.
In a step prominent station in the academic march of the University of Abu Dhabi, the university announced the launch of 4 new doctoral programs, including: Ph.D. Philosophy in Law, PhD in Education, Ph.D. Philosophy in Smart Systems Engineering, and Philosophy Philosophy in Engineering Administration. These programs represent the first time that the faculties of engineering, literature, education, social sciences, and the law are introduced to graduate studies at the doctorate level, which enhances the university’s position as a center for scientific research, innovation and academic leadership.
Through this strategic expansion, Abu Dhabi University confirms its role as a catalyst for academic innovation and excellence, and its position is established as a global high education institution, and this step also contributes to supporting the aspirations of the UAE towards sustainable development, enabling future generations to lead the future and formulate its features.
