Launch an application "Make with ADNOC" To enhance local manufacturing and industrial growth

Abu Dhabi, April 22 / WAM / ADNOC today launched the “Make with ADNOC” application, the first of its kind dedicated to smartphones, which aims to contribute to promoting local manufacturing and accelerating industrial growth in the country.
The application supports the “Make in the Emirates” initiative, and it allows immediate viewing on the products that “ADNOC” plans to buy it, and it provides manufacturers, small and medium -sized companies and entrepreneurs a clear vision to achieve the maximum possible benefit from local long -term manufacturing opportunities available by “ADNOC”.
The innovative application also enables companies to intelligently deal with “ADNOC”, enhance the transparency of purchases, and reduce the risk of investment decisions, in addition to facilitating suppliers registration procedures.
Yasser Saeed Al Mazrouei, CEO of the Human Resources and Institutional and Commercial Support Department in “ADNOC” said that the “Make with ADNOC ‘” application for smartphones will allow companies the opportunity to see immediately on the products that ADNOC plans to buy, and enables them through integrated and simplified procedures to benefit from the opportunities we provide to manufacture locally.
He added that ADNOC, as a major shareholder in supporting the ‘Aseesfi Emirates’ initiative, continues its efforts to develop new and innovative methods to encourage and empower local industries, and contribute to strengthening the industrial base in the UAE.
He called on new and existing companies to benefit from this application, and the opportunities it provides to deal with the company directly in a way that contributes to creating and enhancing the value of all parties.
The effectiveness of the launch of the “Make with ADNOC” application was held at the headquarters of Danaok, in the presence of a number of officials.
For his part, His Excellency Omar Al -Suwaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, stressed that the ministry continues its efforts in cooperation with its strategic partners to enhance the targets of the national strategy for advanced industry and technology, and support the growth and competitiveness of the industrial sector in the country.
He pointed out that the launch of ADNOC to the “Make with ADNOC” application represents a new enabling tool that contributes to the development of the national industrial system, as part of integrative efforts that support the “Maken in the Emirates” initiative within the framework of the strategic partnership between the ministry and Adenuk.
His Excellency added that the application will contribute to the definition of investors and factories with the opportunities available within the supply chains of Adenk, by providing immediate and reliable information about the products that can be manufactured in the UAE according to the company’s needs for the coming years, which enables them to take studied investment decisions based on accurate data and also enhances the flexibility and sustainability of supply chains, supports efforts to achieve self -sufficiency, and serves the goals of the national content program from During stimulating national industrialization and holding more sustainable industrial partnerships.
His Excellency called on investors, manufacturers and suppliers to join the largest and most comprehensive version of “Made in the Emirates”, which will be held at the Ednik Center in Abu Dhabi during the period from 19 to 22 May, with the participation of more than 500 entities, to see the opportunities, potentials and incentives offered by government agencies and leading national companies in the private sector, in addition to the financing agencies and technology developers.
This version will include exceptional opportunities in 12 vital industrial sectors, in addition to announcing new purchase opportunities and thousands of products that are nationally manufactured.
For his part, His Excellency Rashid Abdul Karim Al Balushi, Undersecretary of the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi, said that the launch of the ‘Make with ADNOC’ application is an important step consistent with the goals of Abu Dhabi Industrial Strategy and the vision of ‘Falcon Economics’, which is characterized by flexibility, innovation and global competitiveness. His Excellency Badr Salim Sultan Al -Ulama, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Investment Office said that the launch of the ‘Make with ADNOC’ application is an important step in supporting efforts aimed at consolidating the position of Abu Dhabi as a leading global center for investment and advanced industries, as it will contribute greatly to strengthening the local manufacturing system and creating an attractive investment environment.
“The launch of an application made with ADNOC is an advanced strategic step in the process of enhancing the industrial capabilities of the UAE and by providing accurate and direct data on supply and purchases opportunities, ADNOC contributes to the consolidation of a more transparent, accumulating and anticipating system for the future, enables local manufacturers and small and medium -sized companies from Expansion and innovation.
The launch of the application is based on the successes of the “ADNOC Program to Promote National Content”, which has contributed since its launch in 2008 to the re -direction of 242 billion dirhams (65.9 billion dollars) to the local economy, and created more than 17 thousand jobs for national cadres in the private sector.
It is noteworthy that “ADNOC” seeks to re -direct 200 billion dirhams “54.5 billion dollars” to the local economy during the next five years through its program to enhance the national content.
