One of the beneficiaries of the social insurance system asked a question about the permissibility of work for more than one one at the same time in the social insurance system.
The General Organization for Social Insurance answered through its official account on the “X” platform, as it confirmed that the system allows the subscriber to work for more than one employer, while adhering to specific conditions to ensure the insurance rights of both parties.

According to Article 20 of Chapter Three in the Social Insurance System, every employer is committed individually to pay the required insurance contributions, based on the wage he pays to the subscriber.
However, the system set a ceiling for the total subscription wages on which the subscriptions are calculated, which is 45,000 riyals per month.
If the total wages exceed this limit, the value of the wages subject to subscribing to rates that are commensurate with the subscriber’s income from each employer will be reduced.
