14.3 % increased in Saudi non -petroleum exports during February 2025

Non -petroleum exports (including re -export) increased by 14.3% in February 2025 compared to the same month of 2024, supported by an increase in non -petroleum patriotism and the continued re -export activity, which jumped by 45.9%.
According to the International Trade Report issued by the Statistics Authority, the total decreased by 2.6% due to the decrease in petroleum exports by 7.9%, which led to a decrease in its contribution to the total exports from 76.3% to 72.1% compared to February 2024.

A surplus in the trade balance

Imports decreased by 4.0% during the same period, which contributed to the increase in the surplus in the trade balance by 5.6%, and the increase in the percentage of non -oil exports to imports from 34.1% to 41.3%.
Chemical products lead non -petroleum exports
The “chemical industries products and related” non -petroleum exports are exported, constituting 20.3% of the total non -oil exports, despite their decrease of 3.6%. It was followed by plastics and rubber and their artifacts by 20%, while other exports decreased by 1.7%.
On the aspect of imports, “electrical machines and equipment and their parts were in the lead, constituting 23.5% of the total imports, despite their decrease by 0.7%.
Then came the “transport equipment and its parts” by 15.4%, which witnessed an increase of 24.3% compared to February 2024.

China is the first commercial partner

China maintained its lead as the largest commercial partner of Saudi Arabia in the exports aspect of 16.2%of the total February 2025 exports, followed by South Korea (10.1%) and the United Arab Emirates (9.8%).
China has exported the list of imports to Saudi Arabia by 24.1%, followed by the United States of America (7.3%), then India (6.7%).
10 countries in both sides of export and import constituted 72% and 64%, respectively, of the total merchandise trade of Saudi Arabia.

Customs outlets

The five most prominent customs outlets acquired 74%of the total imports of Saudi Arabia: King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam (25%), Jeddah Islamic Port (19.8%), King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh (15%), King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah (8%), and King Fahd International Airport in Dammam (6.2%).
